Our Winter Reading Challenge ends on MONDAY!!!! Don't forget to bring all reading logs to school by Monday, March 13th!!!

There will be one winning class in grades K-2 and one winning class in grades 3-5, who will each win the grand prize at the end of the program. Mrs. Raver's class and Mrs. Hallisey's class have been in the lead for awhile. However, there are a few classes that are making a final surge to try to pass them! Can they do it?? 

The goal for each child is 20 minutes of reading outside of school every day. However, each child should challenge themselves according to their own ability level. All reading done outside of school counts towards this goal. Please include time you read aloud to your child, a sibling reads to your child, your child reads aloud to someone else, and all independent reading.

If you misplace your reading log for the week or need another one you can access copies on the PTO website. http://www.myvlink.org/CenterSchoolPTO/ . Go to documents> Reading Incentive Program. OR you can request another log from your child’s teacher.

There will be a bulletin board where the children can see their classroom’s progress during the program. We hope this gets the children excited about reading and encourages them to read more at home. Your support of this program is greatly appreciated.
