When you smile, does your child smile back at you? Does your child respond to you when you call their name? Does your child prefer to play alone?

Your child’s early years include many developmental milestones for how he or she plays, learns and acts. Not reaching these milestones, or reaching them much later than other children could be a sign of developmental delay. It is important to identify these delays, because getting help early can prevent your child from falling further behind.

If you are concerned about your child’s development, please call (407) 650-7715 to make an appointment with a Nemours Specialist.
