Brookside Campus Service Day

Come pitch in at the Brookside Campus Service Day happening Saturday, September 29 from 10:00am-12:00pm. We could use some extra hands and the more people we have, the faster we can get things done! We have some great projects planned such as:

  • creating a native habitat and pollinator garden corner
  • working on the future edible forest
  • planting bulbs
  • sanding benches
  • and completing some much needed landscaping near the library and 4th grade building

Please wear layers, bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and any hand tools you have (labeled with your name). We specifically could use a few "weed eater" trimmers if you have one and could bring it along. Come for an hour, come for more, but please come! Snacks and water station provided.

San Anselmo Country Day Fair Parade

Come share your Brookside pride and walk with us in San Anselmo's Annual Country Fair Day Parade on Sunday, September 30. We will meet at 10:30am on San Anselmo Avenue - between Ross and Bolinas Avenues. Look for the Brookside sign and our favorite mascot, the Brookside Bear! We'll walk the parade together and hand out gummy bears to the crowd. When the parade is over, your family can enjoy the fair!

Rock-n-Run Brookside Fundraiser

The Rock N’ Run will take place on the Brookside field on Friday, October 12 and is our ONLY fundraiser of the year, with the goal of raising $55,000 in order to provide much needed programs and materials at Brookside. Students will participate in an hour of warm-up, fun run, and cool-down within grade level groups. We'll have some rockin' tunes, nutritious snacks, and fun surprises to keep all motivated! Parents are welcome to join us at their student’s class time to cheer! We are encouraging each family to try to raise $150, but no amount is too large or small. Most importantly, our goal for each class is 100% participation.

Here’s what we need from you:

1. Read through the pledge packet that will be in backpack mail on Wednesday, September 12 to learn everything you need to know about the Rock N’ Run.

2. Create your child’s fundraising page. (If you’re really feeling awesome, make a donation right away!)

3. Visit your grades’ fundraising team page: http://brooksiderocknrun.everydayhero.do

2. Click “Join Team” and follow the instructions to create your child’s fundraising page. (Parents can sign up using their name and email, and then use your child’s name or whatever title you chose for the “Page Title.”)

3. Help your child update his or her page to include a photo/image and a personal note.

4. Then, share your child’s page with friends, family and neighbors to ask for support!
