Cultural Heritage Night (CHN) is coming and we are looking for College Gardens families who are interested in participating! 

CHN is being held on Friday, March 9 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. This is one of our most well-attended events of the school year!

If you would like to host an information table, share artwork/poster, provide food, showcase a talent, or otherwise showcase your country, region, state, or culture, please complete and return the form in the attachment below to Mrs. Falk at Brenda_D_Falk@mcpsmd.org.

And remember, you don’t have to be from another country to participate!  You may create a table display for the state in which your family was born or raised, the country which your parents, grandparents or ancestors are from, or a region of interest in which you once lived or visited!

For example: 

• Many families have done table displays for states such as California, New York, Ohio, Maryland, and Idaho

• A family once hosted a table for a country in which a parent had served as a Peace Corps volunteer

• A student researched a country to which they had no ties and created a table display

Please volunteer so we can make this event a huge success!
