We would like to send a special thank you to Julie Sapper! Coach Julie founded the Run Club in 2011 to help ensure an inclusive environment for runners of all types.
Literally, hundreds of students have learned the fundamentals of running each year as Coach Julie has shared her passion for running through games, activities and racing. The confidence that has been witnessed as these runners tackled tough courses and conditions are a testimony to her dedication.
As her youngest moves on this year to Julius West Middle School, Coach Julie was honored at our last race with a plaque commemorating her years service and with a scrapbook put together by Haley Flack with memories and notes from current and alumni students of the program!
