Stay and Play Afterschool Clubs at CGES, Sponsored by the City of Rockville
The City of Rockville is holding two Stay and Play Afterschool Clubs at CGES!Mad Science – Zip Zap Boom (8 Week Session)Race around the sciences in this exciting series of classes. Children will experiment with animal calls and take a trip to the bottom of the sea to see how marine life adapts to harsh conditions. Pop, jump and flip into kinetic energy during Energy Burst, and build your own robotic arm. Everyone will get to Mix It Up during our crazy chemistry class. Each hour-long class is sure to be a blast!Abrakadoodle – Under the Sea (8 Week Session)Make a big splash and join us for adventures in our Under the Sea Art classes. Students will explore the real and mythical world of jellyfish, octopuses, dolphins, sea turtles and even mermaids! We'll create fun paintings, collages, sculptures and more. You won't get wet, but you will have oceans of fun designing cool art projects, learning about ecology and examining underwater habitats.
