Parents and community members play a vital role in promoting school health and assuring good school health programs district-wide which can ultimately help students succeed academically. We are always looking for more parents to become involved!

The SHAC assists the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model . Throughout the year, the SHAC will address topics related to health education, nutrition environment and services, employee wellness, social and emotional school climate, physical environment, health services, counseling, psychological and social services, family/community involvement, family engagement, physical education and physical activity.

No experience is required to join the SHAC, just a desire to be involved!
