The goal of the room parent program is to provide safe, healthy, fun opportunities for all students. Room Parents are responsible for coordinating holiday parties. We aim to promote positive interactions between parents and staff. Room parents may also be called upon to assist with fundraisers or class projects such as selling signs for the Color Run, organizing a basket or project for an auction, serving as a Nurse Liaison for the class, participating in Teacher Appreciation Week projects, or coordinating teacher gifts. Please note, signing up as a room parent does not guarantee that you will attend all holiday parties. We try to keep the number of adults in each room to a minimum to keep the focus of the party on the children. Everyone who signs up as a Room Parent will receive a copy of the Room Parent Guidelines & will be invited to an informational meeting.
