Ad Sales for Aladdin Jr. Playbill

Program Ads and Payment are DUE March 14th

First, thank you for supporting the GMS Spring Musical – Aladdin Jr!! The Musical is a wonderful Griffin tradition and is a major fundraiser for the school. We appreciate your help in securing program ads that highlight local businesses and feature the students.

  1. There are three types of ads - see attached flyer (click Print Out at the bottom of page) for sizing, pricing, and directions.
  2. Ad requests must be emailed to GMSMusicalAds@gmail.com.
  3. Once all of the information (contact information, content, photos, etc.) has been received, you will get a request to pay for the ad via PayPal. *There is a small fee added to these payments, so if you would prefer to pay via check, please indicate that. 
  4. The three highest sellers (based on total dollar amount of ads sold) will each received 4 complimentary reserved seat tickets to use for one show.
  5. Please note: the inside covers and back of the program have already been sold.

Advertising Specifications and File Requirements

Ad Sizes Available (See inside for visual sizes):
Full Page Ad = 4.75”w x 7.75”h • $150
Half Page Ad = 4.75”w x 3.75”h • $75
Quarter Page Ad = 2.25”w x 3.75”h • $40

Cast Member Written Shoutout (30 words or less): $10 each

Business & Sponsor Ads
– File Types Allowed:
Completed art must be a 300DPI JPG or PNG file, or Adobe PDF at above size specification. No keyline or border needed. All sponsor/business ads much be furnished as finished art. If any editing or ad creation is required, a $25 design fee will be charged.

Parents & Families – Cast Member Ads:
If you are sending in wording and a photo for a cast member ad to be created, photos must be high resolution (be careful that your phone does not reduce the size of the photo). Low resolution photos will be returned. Ad will be set up using exact copy provided, so please check all words and spelling carefully before submitting! If you are purchasing more than one ad for your student, please send them separately.

Artwork Submission Procedure:
All finished artwork and/or ad requests (requested size, copy and photo) should be submitted via email to GMSMusicalAds@gmail.com

The following information must be included:
Biz/Sponsor Ads: Ad size, Contact Name, Company Name, Email & Phone # and Student Name (for contest tracking)
Family Ads: Ad size, Contact Name, Student’s Name, Contact Phone #, Email

Support our students and promote your business in our commemorative program!
Advertise your business to more than 1,000 GMS students, parents and community members in our professionally designed and produced Playbill. Show support for your favorite cast member with an ad or written shoutout!

8th Grade Dance Planning Meeting, Feb 28th

The annual 8th grade dance is scheduled for later in April, but the planning will be getting underway this month! 7th & 8th grade parents - If you have some great ideas and would like to join the Planning Committee for the 8th Grade Dance, please plan on attending the first meeting on Thursday evening, February 28th, starting at 7pm at Bella's on Atlanta Rd.

Volunteers (6th & 7th grade parents) will be needed for the event in April, and more information will be coming later in March.
