LPES Volunteer Policy

Volunteers are welcome at Las Palmas.  It is district policy that all volunteers fill out a Tier II volunteer form and be approved. Student safety is our #1 concern. We are asking all volunteers to please complete this form and turn it into the office.  As a Tier II volunteer at Las Palmas your responsibilities should always be supervised by CUSD staff. Tier II volunteers cannot have unsupervised contact with students.  Staff will review all volunteer forms checking each against Megan's Law registry.  This form needs to be completed every school year.

Please review the handbook below and submit the Tier II volunteer form to the front office. Once you are approved, you will receive a badge from the front office (no more orange stickers!!!). You will still need to sign in/out in the front office.  That is how we track who is on campus in case of an emergency.
