Please see the attached save the date flyer for AACPS’ Annual Family Involvement Conference. The November 16 conference, which will be held at the Anne Arundel Community College Arnold Campus, is free and open to all interested family and community members. It runs from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm.
Participants will be able to choose two workshops from a wide variety of topics including Strategies for the ADHD Brain to Why Do They Act That Way?: A Survival Guide to the Adolecent ...Brain for You and Your Teen to Put That Down And Look At Me – Who’s Faces Are Screen’s Replacing? There will be something of interest for all families of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade!
Continental breakfast and snacks will be provided and child care is available for children ages 3 – 12 in the campus Child Development Center, but the number of available spaces is limited and registration is required. Flyers, with more details about the sessions and how to register for the event, will be out in October.
