Brookside Parent Club's mission is to build community and promote cooperation and understanding among parents, teachers and students. We do this by assisting in efforts to improve the school, facilities, and events. We build closer relationships between the home and school for the benefit of all students. Through our annual fundraiser, we collect essential funds to support teachers through mini-grants, provide PE and recess equipment, purchase emergency supplies, support student leadership, enhance our garden, host community events for our families and much more.
Brookside Parent Club is organized for nonprofit purposes and is fully volunteer-driven. Parent Club is composed of parents and legal guardians of the students attending Brookside Elementary School as well as teacher, staff and administration of Brookside Elementary School. There are no special classes of membership. We hold meetings at least 3 times a year and those are open to the Parent Club Community and the public at large.
