Volunteer Opportunity: Room Parent Coordinator


We're looking for a new Room Parent Coordinator to lead our wonderful team of room parents for the 2020-2021 school year. This important volunteer role can be done from home. Room Parent Coordinator responsibilities are:

• Recruit new room parents at the beginning of the school year (via email, Facebook)
• Communicate with room parents to help them understand what it entails at CGES via the room parent guide
• Send out reminders for coordinating the Halloween / Valentines parties for the school
• Coordinate staff lunches monthly
• Help be a liaison between room parents and PTA to support Teacher's Appreciation Week
• Communicate miscellaneous information from the PTA

 The room parent coordinator will have access to all the current letters, forms and documents, so there's no need to reinvent the wheel. Of course, the new room coordinator can also make adjustments and make this job their own.
