Happy Summer! We all know how important it is to keep students reading over the summer. With that in mind, below is a link to Reading Rockets, which offers some great ideas for keeping your kids reading throughout the summer. I also think frequent trips to the Public Library are a great way to keep them engaged. The Public Library offers a summer reading incentive program and some other great programs. Finally, I would like to stress the importance of letting children pick books that are of interest to them.
