Earn A Free Bike from the City of Rockville
Perform six or more good deeds and earn a bike.

Rockville has some outstanding school kids, and every T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C kid needs a bike. How do you prove you’re T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C? Show us
you’re Trustworthy, Earnest, Respectful, Responsible, Involved, Fair, Industrious and Caring!

The TERRIFIC Rockville Citizen challenge gives FREE BIKES to students in grades 1-5 who fulfill six (or more) “good deeds,” such as perfect
attendance in school for one month, volunteering with a charity, picking up litter in a public place, or helping someone who is sick or elderly.

Interested students must register in advance. Each selected participant must have a sponsor to monitor their progress. Successful participants receive a certificate for taking part and are invited to attend a Mayor and Council meeting (on May 4 at 7 p.m.) to be recognized for their TERRIFIC work.

Participants will receive their reconditioned bike and new helmet during a special event Sunday, May 17, hosted by Rockville Bike Hub. Bikes will be fitted and a brief orientation on safety given.

NEW THIS YEAR: Interested students must register by Feb. 23, 2020 at www.rockvillemd.gov/registration and use program code # 12538.
