Free Music Connect Program for Kids
The Young Artists Music Society (YAMS) is a certified youth-driven non-profit organization based in Potomac, Maryland. YAMS’ student volunteers have been holding free virtual lessons for children around our community since the beginning of the pandemic, and they have received wonderful feedback from both students and parents. YAMS is now expanding their music program to more kids in the community by providing free music lessons ranging from learning basic note names and instrument functions to music theory and introductions to classical music. YAMS hopes they can help young kids in our community to build their confidence and have fun by connecting with music.
