Dear Educators

Dear Educators,

We want you to know that we see you and appreciate you! In the big book of jobs, you may not be listed as "essential workers" but you are definitely essential.

Teaching during this time is not "normal". We know this is not what you ever envisioned, yet here you are...ROCKING IT! Each day you adapt to whatever comes your way. The kicker is, you seem to do it so effortlessly.

No curriculum could ever account for everything you are teaching these kids daily. You make every moment a teachable moment and they see that. When you push through obstacles with this new platform, they learn life skills from your perseverance.

The Dolphin Bay Elementary PTA, recognizes that you are the blueprint and history in the making. Although we cannot physically be there for you the way we have in past years, we would like you to know we are still there for you behind the scene and behind the screens. You are essential. We hope you took these past two weeks to recharge for whatever comes your way. Thank you for all you do!
