Play Dates at the Park - By Grade Level

Play dates at Dragon Park!

Join your child's Eakin classmates and their families for a play date at Fannie Mae Dee's Park (A.k.a. - Dragon Park) just behind the school. Parents mingle while kids play with their friends and have fun. Plus, there will be popsicles!

Each grade level will meet-up on specific dates:

- Kindergarten — Sunday, August 18th from 3:00 to 4:30 PM
- 1st & 2nd Grade — Sunday, August 25th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM
- 3rd & 4th Grade — Sunday, August 25th from 3:30 to 5:00 PM

When you arrive at the park, look for other Eakin families and people with popsicle coolers near the dragon sculpture and main playground.

Invest In Your Child - Annual Fund Campaign

Invest in Your Child is Eakin’s annual fund & biggest fundraiser of the year. It funds a large portion of the PTO budget and is used to help supplement and support the needs of the school, benefitting EVERY student at Eakin.

Our goal this year is to raise over $60,000 by September 27th. Please INVEST in your child’s education and future by giving what you can.

Every dollar makes a difference and provides critical services and resources that the MNPS budget does not cover.  Gifts to the annual fund go to areas of greatest need, including  classroom materials, staff professional development, International Baccalaureate (IB) expenses, technology replacement, related arts materials, playground equipment, and more.  Let's make sure our school continues to have the resources needed for every student to achieve their highest potential.

Please share with friends, family, neighbors, and anyone looking to invest in a great cause...our students, the future leaders of Nashville and beyond.

Giving is easy and there are several ways to contribute right now or over time:

Venmo app: @Eakin-PTO (include “Invest” and your student's name)

Online with Check or Credit Card: Click here to donate online using Vanco's e-service.  You can make a one-time donation by credit card or you can set up reccurring payments and pay a portion each month.  You can also create a profile to track and manage your donations over time.  Please consider upping your donation by 3% to cover credit card fees.

Online with PayPal: Click here to make a one time donation using PayPal online.

Cash or Check: Send cash or a check made payable to "Eakin PTO"  to school in your child's communicator folder in an envelope labeled "Eakin PTO - Invest Donation".

Your donation is fully TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
Tax letters will be sent in February 2020.

THANK YOU for choosing to make a difference in the lives of Eakin Eagles!
