International Potluck - January 25

Welcome! Bienvenue! Bienvenido! Bem Vinda! Willkommen! Welkom! Üdvözöljük! Hoşgeldiniz! добро пожаловать! 欢迎!
ようこそ! Welina! أهلا بك! Karibu! স্বাগত! Tervetuloa! ยินดีต้อนรับz! Selamat datang! 환영! Hoan nghênh! स्वागत हे! Benvenuto! Witamy!

Join for the Eakin International Potluck on January 25th at 6:00 PM - a chance to come celebrate the diversity of our globe and especially our Eakin community.

The potluck is the culmination of Global Week at Eakin.  During the week, students will participate in international games, wear international dress, and partake in a Passport journey through tables where they learn about other countries in the Eakin library.

The potluck is a chance to talk with other Eakin families over a meal.  Be sure to bring your families' international favorite dishes to share - be sure to sign-up so we know what you will bring.

Your help is needed to make the event a success!  Consider the volunteer needs below and sign-up to help as you are able.

Thanks! Merci! Gracias! Obrigado! Vielen Dank! Bedankt! Kösz! Спасибо! 谢谢! 感謝! Mahalo!شكر! Shukrani! ধন্যবাদ! Kiitos! ขอบคุณ! Terima kasih! 감사! Cảm ơn! धन्यवाद! Grazie! Dzięki!

Please sign-up to bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish, or dessert for the potluck.  Bring a favorite food dish form your home country to share.  Even if your family have been in the U.S. for for generations, bring your favorite family recipe since local dishes reflect your contribution to the rich diversity of Eakin.  Any potluck food may be homemade, store bought, or catered.

Please be sure to label any dishes with allergens and meat types when you bring them.

Please sign-up to share family entertainment at the International Potluck.  Think of ways to share your family's heritage and background: sing a song, share a folk tale, lead everyone in a dance, or whatever other creative ideas you may have.

General Help

Please sign-up to help with potluck setup at 5:30PM or to help with the event itself (greeting people, helping families find open seating, cleaning up spills, etc.).
