The PTO will now feature Teacher Wish Lists under "Documents".  Currently, we have a Wish List for the Music Department who is hoping to begin World Music Drumming Curriculum.  From Ms. Kozuch:

"Right now, General Music is in need of a full set of African tubano drums and hand percussion in order to begin a unit called World Music Drumming. This curriculum is based on authentic African music and performance practices, and includes lessons on African history and culture as well. We also explore Latin American music. WMD has become a staple in music classes across the country.  While the tubanos are the core of the ensemble, I have included the basic set needed to access the full curriculum in our Wish List."
