The King Springs PTA is working overtime to help our community's families have a little less to worry about.  Especially with the upcoming school closures, we know that some local families may be worried about having enough food on hand at home.

 

Today, the PTA purchased an assortment of shelf-stable foods and built food boxes. We will be working with our school counselors to distribute the boxes to KSE families that may be worried about feeding their children while school is closed.

 

We also contacted the Tillman House to see how we can best support the food pantry they host. Families in the Smyrna community can stop by the Tillman House -- which is located right next to our K-2 campus -- to pick up food to bring home.  After we understand how we can best support their efforts, we will be sure to update the KSE community on where we can chip in!
