Note that when we started this process in the fall of 2019, we chose to focus on improving educational outcomes by encouraging fathers and male role models to be involved in school life. From car pool and lunch volunteer opportunities, events like the Father-Daughter Skate Date, classroom opportunities like Mystery Reader, our goal was to create more opportunities for fathers and male role models to connect with their child. Moving forward we are looking to implement a mentor program like AllProDads at KSE.

This year, with the challenges the pandemic brought, we focused on providing opportunities for families to engage in meaningful, low-pressure activities together. We published Family Engagement Monthly Challenges.

We look forward to continuing our work with the school community to find ways to strengthen the bonds between families, teachers, and community, to benefit our students.
