KSE PTA Organization
Executive Board
The leaders of the KSE PTA are the Executive Board. This group of volunteers works with the KSE Administration to set the annual focus for the PTA. They also create the annual budget proposal and calendar of events, and ensure that all PTA events and programs go successfully during the course of the school year. The Executive Board meets monthly. Please feel free to reach out to the Executive Board with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. The Executive Board is assisted by a larger group called the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of everyone who has volunteered to lead one of our PTA events, programs, or Committees during the school year. Examples include the leader of the Beautification Committee, the parent volunteer responsible for counting all of the Box Tops donations, and the Room Parent Coordinator.
Monthly Board of Directors meetings are announced via eNews and on Facebook. Members of the Board of Directors attend these meetings to update the group on their PTA events or programs. All parents are invited to attend these meetings, share ideas, and volunteer!
Committees
Many of the KSE PTA events and programs require more than just one volunteer to make them a success. Events like Fall Festival and Field Day are led by one or two people, with help from a larger committee of volunteers.
These Committees meet as needed prior to the Event. Committee meetings are announced via eNews and on Facebook. All interested parents are welcome to attend, share ideas, and volunteer!
Event Volunteers
We need lots of volunteers at every PTA event! Big events like Fall Festival and Field Day need about 100 volunteers to monitor all of the games and activities!
All parents are encouraged to volunteer! Opportunities are posted under the "Volunteers Needed" section of this website, and are announced via eNews and on Facebook.
