Communication at KSE
Here is a rundown of all the communication channels that we use at KSE:
Phone Messages & Texts
Emails
Your Child's Daily Folder
The most important thing you can do to stay informed at KSE is to check your child's daily folder every night for important info! Your child's teacher, the school, the KSE PTA, the KSE Foundation, and the KSE Council all send information home this way.
Teacher and Staff Blogs
Almost all KSE Teachers and Staff maintain a blog. You can find (and subscribe to) your child's teacher's blog, Mrs. Keeney's blog, the Learning Commons blog, and all of the other blogs here: www.cobbk12.org/kingsprings/staff.aspx
PTA, Foundation, and School Council Websites
The KSE PTA, Foundation, and School Council all maintain websites with their latest information:

Phone Messages & Texts
The Administration does periodic call-outs to KSE families with important announcements. Your phone number will automatically be added to the call-out list when you register your child at KSE. If your phone number changes, please inform the front office.
Emails
Teachers: Most teachers use email as a major communication tool with parents. To stay informed, give your email address to your child's teacher. Teacher email addresses can be found by clicking on the envelope icon next to the teacher's name on the KSE Staff page: www.cobbk12.org/kingsprings/staff.aspx
Weekly Newsletter: The KSE PTA sends an email each week during the school year. We also send e-blasts for special news. To subscribe:
- New User? Go to the upper-right corner of this page and create an account.
Enter your info and check the boxes for "I'd like to receive Email Blasts" and "I'd like to receive Site Update Notifications and/or Newsletters."
Then click submit.
OR, if you just want to join the weekly email list, you can click on the "Sign Up for Email Alerts" button on the right-hand side of this page. - Already have an account? Click on My Account/My Profile in the upper right side of the menu at the top of this page.
Check the boxes for "I'd like to receive Email Blasts" and "I'd like to receive Site Update Notifications and/or Newsletters."
Then click Submit.
Calendar
KSE PTA maintains our calendar on this website. To subscribe to the calendar on this website, look on the left hand side of this page. Under the scrolling calendar, you will see a box that says "View Month by Month Calendar or Subscribe to iCalendar". Click "Subscribe to iCalendar" and follow the instructions for your personal calendar application.
The Cobb County School District maintains a Staff Use calendar that you might also find helpful. To add this calendar to your Google Calendar, go to the Cobb County School District Calendars page: http://www.cobbk12.org/generalinfo/calendars/ and click the "+ Google Calendar" button in the bottom right hand corner.

Facebook
There is a Facebook page for KSE parents, monitored by KSE parents. It is a great place to ask other parents logistical questions about KSE, post pictures from KSE events, or share your love of KSE.
