UniCycle School Uniform Drive
UniCycle is a school uniform recycling program, which collects outgrown SSA items and redistributes them to MNPS students in need.
UniCycle collects the following items:
✓ Collared shirts in solid colors, all sizes, long and short-sleeved (i.e. polo-style shirts)
✓ Shorts, Pants, Dreses and Skirts in Khaki, Navy Blue and Black
✓ Belts and Leggings – all colors and patterns (to wear under skirts and dresses)
✓ Shoes and Coats
During the week of September 27- October 1, send clothing in with your child to donate to UniCycle. There will be a collection bin outside the front of the school, as well as a bin inside for kids to drop off items.
ColorCycle Marker Drive
The ColorCycle program has repurposed more than 70 tons of expended markers in the United States and Canada since 2013, and uses the most advanced plastic conversion technologies available today to make wax compounds for asphalt and roofing shingles as well as to generate electricity that can be used to heat homes, cook food, and power vehicles. Please help support our efforts by sending your kids in with any used markers you may have around the house- even non-Crayola brands! Highlighters and dry erase markers can also be included. Drop-off boxes will be located outside the front of the school, as well as a bin inside for kids to drop off items.
