To encourage our Red Wolves to read over the summer break and not do the summer slide,* the PTO is hosting two Summer Media Center Days. 

The two Summer Media Center Days will be on July 10th and August 7th from 10:00-11:30 a.m., where all rising K-5th graders who are registered at Rea View, will be able to check out books.  The PTO will also have crafts and guest readers at the Summer Media Center Days. In addition, Rea View students who are participating in the Read with Rocky Summer Reading Program can choose from a host of small incentives for bringing their reading logs to the Summer Media Center Days (click here for more information on our Read with Rocky Summer Reading Program). 

Students do not have to participate in the Read with Rocky Reading Program in order to attend the Summer Media Center Days. However, only students who have registered with the school's office and are in the UCPS database will be allowed to check out books. 

Please return all books checked out during the Summer Media Center Days by the first week of school, August 26-30, 2019.

Also, right before the Summer Media Center Days, the PTO's Welcome Committee will be hosting Summer Playdates at the K-2 Playground for all new and returning Rea View students (click here for more information on Rea View's Summer Playdates).
