C.A.R.E., which stands for Compassion in Action at Rea View Elementary, is a committee that works to foster compassion and empathy in our students.  We organize service projects at school, plan special events and collections, and also connect students and their families with local organizations and community service opportunities.

Some previous C.A.R.E events and programs include:

• After school C.A.R.E. Club
• Rea View race teams at local charity runs
• A TerraCycling program
• A parent-faculty book club
• A food “Share Bin” in the cafeteria to help provide food to local families
• Announcements in the PTO Newsletter about community service opportunities in our area.
