The Rea View PTO New Family Welcome Committee organizes events and school tours to welcome new families to Rea View. Whether you are new to the area or just starting kindergarten, the Welcome Committee is happy to help you get adjusted and feel at home! There are many ways to get involved in the school and they are here to help you feel comfortable. 

A few things the Welcome Committee does* includes...

• Host K-5 summer play dates for all RVES students to meet new friends before the school year begins
  
  
• Host a Back to School Chalk Shout Out in August
  (for parents to leave messages for their kids on the school's sidewalks before the first day of school)
  
  
• Host a new parent coffee social at the beginning of the school year
  
  
• Give school tours to new families
  
  
• Provide welcome folders with important information for the upcoming school year
