Sandy Ridge and The Community Shelter are teaming up to help gather items for some of our fellow community members in need!  The recipients of the items are currently living in the shelter and will soon be transitioning into a permanent housing.  We are asking for household items to help make their transition easier.  Our campaign runs from 10/18 – 11/1. These (new/gently used) items include:

Bath towels/wash cloths

Coffeemakers

Twin sheets

Toilet cleaner, brush

All purpose cleaner

Disinfectant

Paper towels

Toasters

Scrub brush

Sponges

Comet

Window Cleaner

The above items are what the shelter is currently in need of this month.  It changes monthly.  If you have any items that you would like to donate there will be two bins in the front of the school for your convenience labeled Spread the Love.

In addition, our goal is to have the students make handmade “Welcome Home” cards to give to them as well!  Please place them in the large envelopes provided by the bins.  Together we can make a difference!  It’s a Win Win for our students and our community!
