Hello 4th grade parents,
As you heard earlier this week, in order for our kids to be able to attend Outdoor Science School next year in 5th grade, we are required to submit 85% (or $22,000) of the funds by March 29. We have currently raised $16,804 for our grade to attend Outdoor Science School next year. If we miss this deadline OUR CHILDREN WILL MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY.
Our kids work hard to learn and grow every day.
LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR THEM!!!
San Juan Children's Education Foundation will match every donation (totaling up to $3000 max) towards OSS between now and March 29.
We want to thank parents who have volunteered their time, made donations for fundraising, and who have already paid for their child's portion to attend the camp. Some families have gone above and beyond to help out others who may not be able to pay the fee and have paid for an additional student. For this, we are grateful...this is true Cougar Spirit! WE KINDLY ASK THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO DONATE AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR ANOTHER STUDENT TO ATTEND to do it NOW! This is a non profit tax write-off, SJCEF TAX ID 80-0265744. You will be giving a tremendous gift to a fellow student AND your child will be able to attend this unique and memorable experience to wrap up their elementary years.

THE HOOSGOW'S DAY TACO SALE
March 22, 1:30-3:30pm
....join us in the front of the school facing the Mission to grab some delicious tacos and invite friends and family to enjoy as well.
To help supply the sale, we would appreciate any donations of water, soda or Capri Sun to be brought to Room 20 by Thursday, March 21. We still need help with set up and sales from 12:30p-3:30p. If you can help, please reply to this email.
