For this year's Staff Appreciation Week, the PTA is focusing on simple and meaningful acts of gratitude. Help us show KSE's teachers & staff how much we appreciate them!

Our big initiative is a thank-you note campaign. We need your help! Each student will bring home eight blank thank you cards. Please help your child write a note of appreciation to their classroom teacher(s) and any other teachers they see frequently (ESOL, EIP, Target/Talent Development, etc.). For older grades, we have also assigned each class a non-classroom employee to write to; check the letter attached to your child's cards for details on that. Students can use their remaining cards to write notes to their ASP teachers, bus driver, Specials teachers, favorite staff member or administrator .... anyone they'd like to thank for helping them have a great year! A blank thank you card template is posted on this page, in case you need more cards. Our hope is that every employee at KSE will be showered with handwritten thank you notes that they will surely treasure.

Send your completed cards back to school through your child's daily folder. Volunteers will cut the cards apart and deliver them to each staff member. If you can help with this task, please sign up here.

In addition to being showered with thank you notes, each KSE employee will also receive an American Express gift card from the PTA's End of Year Gift Fund. Thank you, families, for your generosity in contributing to this fund! It was hugely successful and we love being able to treat our teachers & staff to these gifts.
