The PTA's School of Excellence Committee is excited to launch our volunteering initiative for this school year!!!

A few weeks ago, our committee asked parents and teachers to fill out a survey that was designed to identify areas of strength and weakness at our school. Then we sat down with KSE administration and looked over the answers. Based on the responses, we've decided to focus on strengthening academics by increasing the involvement of dads and other male role models in our students’ school day.

We are starting with a smorgasbord of daily volunteer opportunities! The goal is to offer accessible opportunities which will help the school day run more smoothly. We also want to reinforce the message that our community is invested in its children!! And, drum roll please, each time you volunteer, your name will be added to a raffle for prizes!!! The raffle will be drawn in May. There are also small monthly prizes too!!

One final note! Thank you for reading all of this! We have lots of volunteering opportunities so we want to invite EVERYONE to grab a shift! Our goal is to increase the involvement of male role models in the school, but we love our moms/female role models too.
