Hi Parents,

We hope this message finds all our families in great spirits. We know each of our families are in different situations in this unprecedented time. Please know that we stand with you all, and you are not alone in this race.

With the end of the school year approaching, we have been looking for meaningful, simple ways to join together and show the KSE staff how much we appreciate them. Our efforts look a little different this year, but the message is the same -- we love King Springs and all the individuals who make our community so great.

Gift Fund
If there was ever a year with excess funds in our budget, this was THE year!! Clap clap! Your constant generosity throughout the entire year has been nothing short of incredible; thank you. We fully recognize our families are going through many unforeseen hardships. Therefore, for the end of the year staff gift fund, the PTA Board has unanimously decided that we could not ask for any monetary donations from families. Instead, we will use PTA general funds to cover the end of year gift. This is what YOU the parents allowed to happen; we are merely a vessel. We promise to never stop recognizing and verbalizing how thankful we are for all the giving families (time, money and skillsets) at KSE.

Some parents have indicated they want to give. For those families, we will allow the option for giving for a very short-term period. Send your contribution by paypal to kingspringspta@gmail.com by May 8, 2020 and include a note that it is for the EOY gift. Please know we are not seeking or desiring ANY donations; but rather, giving the opportunity to those that have already asked, as we feel obligated to honor those wishes.

Staff Appreciation Week
This year staff appreciation will look a little different but will be no less special for our amazing teachers and staff. Please see the schedule of daily fun ideas to share your appreciation from May 4-8.

In closing, we want to give the biggest shout out to everything the parents have done for KSE this year. We are sending all our families so many positive thoughts during this time. While we may be going through tough times and don’t know what the future holds, we know that we will stand together in solidarity and come back stronger than ever! Virtual hugs to our Springer nation! It has been an honor serving you all this year!
