Transportation Details

Sharing is Caring and Patience is Priceless!

Please Remember we are all sharing the front parking lot until December.  All buses, daycare vans, cars, and walkers will be arriving and departing from the front parking lot.

Morning Arrival: Doors Open at 7:10 AM

  • Attached you will find the KSE bus routes including pick up times for each stop and arrival time at KSE. (Not attached here, please see communication from Dr. Szwec on CTLS for the complete Bus Route list)

  • Buses will unload first at 7:15

  • There will be a single carpool line until all buses have departed in the morning.

  • After buses leave, we will open a 2nd carpool line.

  • There will be many adults out to help with arrival and dismissal.  Please pay attention to the staff members with very large signs.  We will work on unloading multiple cars, getting students onto the sidewalk and then allowing those cars to leave as a group.  The next group will roll up, unload and move on.

  • We will have our crossing guard every day and a CCSD police officer to assist the first week.

Afternoon Dismissal: Dismissal Begins at 2:10

  • Every day we will have ASP (After School Program), Buses, Carpool, Daycare Vans and Walkers.

  • All buses will line up in front of the school between 1:15-1:30. You will not be able to line up for carpool until all buses are in place.

  • Bus Riders will be dismissed first.  Attached you will find the bus routes.  Please look for the estimated time your child’s bus will arrive at the bus stop.

  • Daycare Vans will be dismissed as they arrive.

  • Carpool and Walkers will be dismissed after buses have departed.

  • Please have your carpool tag displayed from your mirror.

  • There will be many adults out to help with dismissal.  Please pay attention to the staff members with very large signs.  With 2 afternoon carpool lines, we will work on loading multiple cars and then allowing those cars to leave as a group.  The next group will roll up, load up, and head home.

  • ASP will be dismissed after carpool.

  • ASP Pick Up is located through the door closest to the Learning Commons.  It will be clearly labeled.  You must wear a mask when you come in to pick up your child from ASP.

  • ASP DetailsThe fees remain the same this year, $10.00 registration fee per child and $7.00 per day per child.  The program continues to be a prepaid program with weekly payment due prior to students staying. If you have an outstanding balance from last year, please make every effort to clear that balance.  We are very aware of the financial strains the global pandemic has brought to many families.  If you need assistance clearing your balance, please let me know.

Please remember that any afternoon transportation changes must be done in writing with a note to the teacher or in person by stopping by the front office.

If you have not already completed this form from your child’s teacher, please complete it for us.  This will help us be ready for the 1st week of school’s afternoon dismissal for your child.
