Friday, May 14 is Field Day and this year’s event is going to be a little different than normal, but still a fun-filled day.
The main event will be during in-person, regularly scheduled related arts time (see schedule below). Students will be able to enjoy lunch on the front lawn (in designated class areas) and an all school closing ceremony in the field, a freeze dance competition. Virtual students are invited to attend all the outside events with their class (with a parent/guardian in attendance) and will receive a special virtual freeze dance lesson from Mr. Petrelli or Ms. DeFrancisco. There will be volunteer opportunities and the link to the sign-up genius will go out soon. We have specific protocols that everyone will need to follow, so be prepared to have fun but also adhere to the safety guidelines. Be on the lookout, as more information will be coming home soon. Let me know if you have any questions…Stephen.schumacher@mnps.org
