We have exciting news!!! LDC has signed up to partner with UniCycle! UniCycle is a school uniform recycling program, which collects outgrown SSA items and redistributes them to MNPS students in need.
UniCycle collects the following items:
✓ Collared shirts in solid colors, all sizes, long and short-sleeved (i.e. polo-style shirts)
✓ Shorts, Pants, Dreses and Skirts in Khaki, Navy Blue and Black
✓ Belts and Leggings – all colors and patterns (to wear under skirts and dresses)
✓ Shoes and Coats
During the week of January 14th-18th, send clothing in with your child to donate to UniCycle. We will send out more info after the holiday break, but we wanted to make sure that everyone holds onto any outgrown clothing items in the meantime.
And a special thanks to our UniCycle parent volunteers, Maggie Berry and Jamie Matthews. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out Maggie, Jamie or Jaime Drown with the PTO. We will keep you update on our progress, and we are very excited about our partnership with UniCycle.
