The PTO has had a wonderful year due to the amazing parents, staff, students, and volunteers of Rea View, and we are so excited about all we accomplished together!

The PTO raised around $48,000 through your generous donations at the Run with Rocky Fun Run, Go Play Save Coupon Sales, School Reward programs, and additional contributions! In addition we were also able to raise over $12,000 from business sponsorships and contributions! With these essential donations the PTO was able to….

Support teachers & staff by providing funds for:
• short throw projectors for nine classrooms
• non-consumable instructional supplies, such as non-fiction books, for each grade level
• online website subscriptions and/or educational software
• professional development training for teachers
• $150 for instructional supplies for each classroom teacher
• $50 for instructional supplies Providing support staff, such as OT, PT, Speech, and Math teachers
• six catered luncheons for all of Rea View’s staff
• a treat-filled Staff Appreciation week, which included gift cards, car wash certificates, a breakfast, a lunch, lotto tickets, and a coffee truck visit
• a holiday gift for all staff
• a Rea View t-shirt for classroom teachers and teaching assistants

Support students & families by providing funds for:
• an agenda for each student
• an educational magazine, such as Scholastic News, for each student
• a book for each student during their birthday month
• a Rea View t-shirt for each student
• all of the Family Fun events, including All Pro Dad Breakfasts, the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Gingerbread Night, the Father-Daughter Dance, and Rocky’s Spring Fling
• the Read with Rocky Summer Reading Program
• the Bright Blessing Community Service Day for students
• the 5th grade promotion ceremony

Support the school community by providing funds for:
• a new Rocky mascot costume
• new soccer nets for the both the K-2 and 3-5 playgrounds
• a PTO Website to communicate events and important information
• flowers, plants, and soil for the planters around the school and in the courtyard

• planning and organizing staff luncheons, staff meeting snacks, special treats, and gifts for the staff
• volunteering at Staff Appreciation events and during Staff Appreciation Week
• serving as Room Parents
• making copies for teachers
• shelving, checking-out, checking-in books in the Media Center
• organizing the Teacher Bookroom

Support students & families by:
• planning, organizing, and volunteering at family fun events, including the All Pro Dad events, the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, the Sports Game Nights, the Gingerbread Night, the Mother Son Night, the Father Daughter Dance, and Rocky’s Spring Fling
• planning, organizing, and volunteering at our a Fall Enrichment Club
• planning Spirit Days once a month for students
• planning, organizing, and volunteering during Dr. Seuss Week
• organizing and providing Birthday Books for students
• planning, organizing, and volunteering at the Bright Blessings Community Day
• planning, organizing, and volunteering at Read with Rocky Summer Reading Program
• planning and hosting Summer Playdates at Rea View
• organizing the sale and distribution of Spirit Wear
• planning and organizing the sale of Back to School Kits
• giving school tours to new families
• offering a Back to School Chalk Shout Out

Support the school community by:
• planting and maintaining the planters around the school and in the courtyard
• helping to maintain the school grounds
• removing rocks from the track
• running our PTO website and social media platforms
• managing the PTO budget
• recording and taking notes at PTO Board meetings and General PTO Meetings
