With all the budget cuts to education, your donations to Rea View Elementary are needed more than ever! Last year your donations replaced all of the old smartboards at Rea View, which was sorely needed. This year the school would like to update the Media Center and possibly provide shade on the playgrounds. Therefore, to support Rea View’s students, staff, and school community the PTO is introducing the Donate Your Way at Rea View Fundraising Program! This program consists of two different fundraising options, including the…

• Direct Give Campaign (Aug. 22 – Sept. 20)
• Run with Rocky Fundraiser & Fun Run (Oct. 28 – Nov. 6)

Choose to “donate your way” to the fundraisers of your liking! Maybe you choose to donate to both of the fundraisers, or participate in just one and then ask your family and friends to participate in the other one.

The Direct Give Campaign is new to Rea View this fall! This fundraiser ensures that all of the money donated through the campaign stays at Rea View. There are no rewards, raffles, activities, etc. related to this fundraiser. All you have to do from August 22 through September 20, is either send in a check written to Rea View PTO with the donation amount of your choice or go to the Shop/Donate tab of the PTO website, www.reaviewpto.com, to donate to the Rea View’s Direct Give Campaign.

The Run with Rocky Fundraiser and Fun Run is our biggest fundraiser! Last year Rea View received over $36,000 from Run with Rocky. This fundraiser is run by Boosterthon, and does not require any volunteers from our school community. These professionals do an amazing job bringing the fun to school every day of the fundraiser with daily grade level rallies and incentives. Students and teachers alike enjoy having the Boosterthon team at Rea View! Rea View will receive over half of the proceeds donated through Run with Rocky (last year we received 56%). This year the Run with Rocky Fundraiser will occur from October 28 to November 6, with the Fun Run being on November 6.

You are not required to participate in either of the fundraisers, and you certainly do not have to donate to both options but your contributions are undeniably appreciated. If you have questions, email us at reaviewpto@gmail.com.
