CONNECTING WITH THE REA VIEW SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Rea View's PTO keeps connected with the school community through several resources, including the PTO website, the PTO newsletter, PTO social media accounts, emails (to PTO website users), sharing information with the school's administration, and a Rea View family directory. To help the PTO with the communication efforts, we have two volunteer Webmasters who add items weekly to our PTO Website, and compiles the PTO's Newsletter during the school year. We also have a volunteer Social Media Manager who post important news to our social media accounts all year. The PTO President and PTO Board also work with the school administration to make sure they are informed, and can share PTO news and updates with the school staff and school community.
PTO Website
Every Tuesday during the school year, new news and updates are added to the PTO Website. The PTO Website also provides important website links and documents for our school community. The PTO Website is also the location where Rea View families can purchase PTO Memberships, register for family fun events, and purchase spirit wear and other items.
PTO Newsletter
Every Wednesday during the school year, the PTO sends out a newsletter via email. The newsletter is the main source of up-to-date information for Rea View. The newsletter includes important school and PTO events, news, documents, website links, and volunteer opportunities. Only individuals who create a PTO Website user account and choose to receive the PTO Newsletter. To sign-up to receive the newsletter, please download the guide below. PTO Social Media Accounts
The PTO has a very active Rea View PTO Facebook Page and Rea View PTO Twitter Feed, where we keep the school community informed of news, updates, event reminders, and so much more year round. So be sure to follow us on our social media accounts!
PTO EmailsThe PTO send emails to registered users on the PTO Website when there are important announcements or updates during holidays and summer break. They will also send important reminder emails when deadlines are approaching throughout the school year. To become a registered a PTO website user, click on the New User link in the top right corner of this website and fill in the fields to create your account. Be sure to check the box to receive emails.Sharing PTO Information Through the School's Connect Ed Message SystemRea View's principal often sends parents and guardians a Connect Ed phone calls and email messages. When possible, the PTO provides the principal with updates and news to include in the Connect Ed messages for those who do not receive our PTO newsletter and emails. However, please remember the best way to receive the PTO's news and updates is by creating a PTO Website user account, and checking the boxes to receive the newsletter and email blasts.
