Welcome to the Arnold Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  Our goal is to build a community of parents, teachers and administrators working together to make a stronger school and a better educational experience for our children! We are here to keep you informed and to provide easy access to information and program opportunities that help our children and communities.

What does it mean to be a PTA Member?

Being a PTA members means you are involved in your children's education by actively supporting our school.  Being a PTA member is a rewarding experience for you and your children.  Being a PTA member does not mean you must commit to volunteering or attend every event or meeting.  We respect that you do only what you can, when you can and we welcome your support!

What are the benefits of PTA Membership?

With your membership, participation and involvement, the educational and social experiences of all students at Arnold Elementary will be greatly enhanced.  Your membership contribution is good for one school year and entitles you to be a voting member, room parent, chair a committee or serve on the executive board.  Your contribution is kept in our school and used during the current school year.  Contributions help supplement programs and events for our students, provide teachers with supply stipends and fund capital projects for our school.

Isn't the PTA only about fundraising?

No, we do a lot more than fundraising; we sponsor FUN! Fundraising is an important way for us to provide additional resources for our children such as assemblies, fieldtrips, positive behavior incentives, family events for our school community and other items outside of the school budget such as the outdoor learning pavillion.  Our ability to provide these things is dependent upon our Arnold Elementary families’ participation in fundraising efforts. Spirit Wear, local restaurant Spirit Nights, and our Arnold Fun Run are just some of the ways we raise money for our school.
